About Coach T.

Coach T (Bakary Torrence) is a dedicated Performance Coach based in Mooresville, North Carolina, where he is deeply rooted in the local community and athlete development. He holds a degree in Health Systems Management with a minor in Public Health, providing a strong foundation in both performance training and overall athlete wellness.

Coach T has trained over 150 youth athletes, specializing in speed, agility, strength, and conditioning. He is especially passionate about helping young athletes build confidence, discipline, and long-term athletic foundations.

One of his greatest joys is coaching and training alongside his son in football — reinforcing his belief in movement, mentorship, and leading by example.

Behind the scenes, Coach T is supported by a devoted and supportive wife and is proud to be a stepfather to athletes competing in both basketball and volleyball, strengthening his connection to youth sports both inside and outside the gym.
